The roar that woke up the center
This morning, the commercial heart of Hermosillo shook with a loud bang. An accumulation of gas inside the La Cubiella wine establishment, in Juárez and Veracruz, was the cause. In seconds, the calm transformed into controlled chaos.
“The State Coordination of Civil Protection confirmed that there were no serious injuries and that the situation was controlled in a short time.”
The sirens didn’t take long. Firefighters, Civil Protection and security arrived at the scene to extinguish the flames and begin investigating. The priority: avoid a major tragedy.
Streets closed and a community on alert
As an immediate measure, the municipal police cut off traffic in Juárez and Tamaulipas. Traffic Agents redirected the traffic flow, asking drivers for patience.
The authorities made a clear call: avoid the area. That emergency teams can work without obstacles is crucial at this time.
Although only one injured person was reported and treated by paramedics at the scene, the shock wave went beyond the broken glass. Concern is now growing among merchants and residents of the area.
They wait for answers. What went wrong? What guarantees are there so that it does not happen again? While experts search for the exact causes, normality is slow to return to those blocks.
