Dolly Parton returns to Las Vegas with a season of exclusive concerts
After more than three decades without a prolonged performance in the iconic Sin City, the iconic singer-songwriter Dolly Parton confirmed her return to Las Vegas with a series of intimate shows titled “Dolly: Live in Las Vegas”. The events will take place at the prestigious The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, one of the most emblematic venues on the international music scene.
Tour details and VIP experience
The concerts are scheduled for December 4, 6, 7, 10, 12 and 13 this year, with tickets available from June 25 through Ticketmaster. In addition to standard tickets, exclusive packages will be offered that include benefits such as photos with the artist, access to private areas such as the “Rhinestone Lounge” and backstage tours. Although pricing has yet to be revealed, it is expected to reflect the premium nature of the experience.
In her statement, Parton said: “To say I’m excited would be an understatement. I haven’t worked in Las Vegas in years, and I’ve always loved singing there.” This return marks a milestone in her career, especially after a period of mourning following the death of her husband, Carl Dean, last March.
A journey through seven decades of success
The repertoire promises to be a musical journey through the artist’s greatest hits, including classics such as “Jolene”, “9 to 5” and “I Will Always Love You”, the latter popularized by Whitney Houston. Parton, a member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, will combine her distinctive country style with innovative arrangements to delight her audience.
Parallel projects and surprise collaborations
Beyond concerts, the 79-year-old artist maintains an active schedule. Her stage production “Dolly: A True Original Musical”, based on her life, will begin previews in Nashville in July, with a view to reaching Broadway. At the same time, his tour “Threads: My Songs in Symphony”—a fusion of his songs with orchestral arrangements—will tour the United States until 2026.
Recently, Parton surprised her fans by collaborating with the hard rock band Mötley Crüe on a renewed version of their ballad “Home Sweet Home”, included on the group’s retrospective album. This movement reflects its versatility and constant reinvention.
