The ‘Bad Rabbit’ is not alone
There are minutes left until Bad Bunny prints his Latin flavor on Super Bowl LX. But while criticism of his participation grows, something else also floods the networks: a tsunami of support from his famous colleagues.
Katy Perry was one of the first. From his official X account, he sent a direct message to the Puerto Rican:
“You can do this Benito, remind the world what the true American dream is like.”
She wasn’t the only one. Jennifer Lopez also remembered when they shared the stage at the 2020 Super Bowl and sent him a message full of pride.
“Bad Bunny… sending you all the love and the biggest hug in the world. We are all with you tonight! I know you are going to break it,” wrote JLo, closing with a forceful: “So proud to be Puerto Rican!”.
A choir of famous voices
The support list is long and diverse. Thalía joined in with humor, signing as “your first love” in reference to her famous verse. Shakira, with whom he also performed in 2020, posted a brief but heartfelt message on Instagram wishing him the best.
But they weren’t just singers. The wave included Natti Natasha, Gloria Trevi, Alejandro Sanz and even Bobby Pulido. The latter put his finger on what this moment means:
“That Bad Bunny is doing that today on the biggest stage in the world makes me even more proud of what this day means to all Latinos.”
As Benito prepares backstage, one thing is clear to him: there may be critics, but he has no shortage of star friends.
