Christian Nodal presented “Intro pal’cora”, the latest preview of his next album “Bandera Blanca”. In the song, the singer addresses the controversies he has faced in recent months with direct statements.
A song of relief
The video, in black and white, shows Nodal alone, with elements such as a cross that reflects his faith. The letter seems to be addressed to several people, including his parents, with whom he has a conflict over the legal registration of his name.
“My voice was born from the bowels of the desert. Where everything is uncertain. And it has traveled through every corner of the world until it reaches you. The stories that are invented and sold to you about me. They do not keep me awake because I am a dreamer,” he says in the most introspective part.
The interpreter also refers to those who have betrayed him, both professionally and personally:
“Bad fame, good life. Here’s to the blessing. I already took off the blindfold. I know who paid with betrayal.”
Reaffirmation and return
Despite a period of musical inactivity, Nodal claims to be the greatest exponent of the Mexican regional music. He started in the industry at the age of 17 and now claims that his only interest is connecting with millions of people.
The song revives his character “El Outajido”, a confrontational stage that will set the tone for the rest of the album.
Launch details
“Bandera Blanca” premieres this Thursday, May 21 at 6:00 p.m. on all digital platforms. It consists of 13 songs, each possibly accompanied by an official video, as has happened with previous singles.
