But a recent statement by singer Toñita, insinuating that her marriage was simulated, seems to have reached the interpreter’s ears. And he, in the midst of promoting his “Vida Tour”, decided to respond.

Rivera expressed in an interview for Ventaneando. He clarified that this is not something new and that, being a public figure, rumors are part of the game.

The singer was clear: he has never lived to please the public. That’s why he and Cynthia are not featured in magazines or covers. His love and his family are themes that he reserves for his songs.
“I have not done anything in my life to please anyone… we have kept it to ourselves and anything goes”,
he stated firmly.
The moment was especially emotional because the statements were given on the same stage where, 22 years ago, The Academy won. And it was right there where he met Cynthia.
“Here I met her, here I fell in love with her since I saw her”,
