Dispersion Calendar for the Benito Juárez Scholarship
The Government of Mexico, through the National Coordination of Scholarships for Well-being, continues with the scheduled distribution of the financial support corresponding to the Benito Juárez Scholarship. This subsidy, essential for the high school student population, has the primary objective of combating school dropouts and guaranteeing the academic continuity of millions of young people in vulnerable situations. The dispersion of the resources, which amount to 1,900 pesos per beneficiary every two months, began last Monday and is carried out in accordance with a specific calendar established by the educational authorities.
The payment mechanism is applicable to all students, without distinction between mixed and school modalities, ensuring broad and inclusive coverage. The subsidy is delivered directly, without the intervention of intermediaries, to guarantee that the resource reaches its recipients in its entirety.
Schedule of Deposits and Beneficiaries for October 24
According to official information shared by Julio León, National Coordinator of Scholarships for Wellbeing, the deposit schedule is progressing as planned. For this Friday, October 24, the disbursement is specifically aimed at students whose last names begin with the letters “P”, “Q” and “R”. This procedure, organized alphabetically, speeds up the logistical process and allows scholarship recipients to anticipate receiving their financial support.
It is crucial to note that this date represents the penultimate day designated in the current dispersal calendar. Beneficiary students can withdraw their funds without incurring any type of commission or additional charge in the Bancos del Bienestar network, either through tellers (boxes) or using the institution’s ATMs. Students are recommended to come with their valid official identification to expedite the transaction.
Causes for Definitive Suspension of Economic Support
Permanence in the educational scholarships program is subject to compliance with a series of regulations and conditions established by the federal public administration. It is essential that scholarship recipients know the circumstances that may lead to the definitive loss of the subsidy. Among the most frequent causes are the death of the beneficiary and having received the scholarship for the maximum stipulated period of 40 months.
Likewise, the successful completion of higher secondary education studies or the discovery that these were completed prior to the application, entails the immediate suspension of payment. Another relevant cause is the simultaneous receipt of another maintenance scholarship granted by any entity or agency of the federal public administration, since these supports cannot be accumulated.
Finally, the provision of false information or the presentation of apocryphal documents during the registration process, as well as the voluntary request to withdraw from the program by the student, are grounds for cancellation of the benefit. The authorities emphasize that the scholarship recipient is the sole and direct person responsible for managing their support, urging them not to share personal data with third parties and to avoid any form of intermediation in the withdrawal of money, to prevent fraud and ensure the correct application of public resources.
