The ASF puts order in the yard
The Superior Audit of the Federation (ASF) released a statement that leaves no room for doubt: all communication with the audited entities is made only through officials designated as institutional liaisons. No managers, private offices or supposed external representatives. It’s as if the director of the play said: “Here I only talk to the actors, not their assistants.”
What does this mean? That the requirements, notifications and procedures derived from audits are handled only through official channels. The ASF does not recognize the intervention of third parties outside its formal structure. It is a slam of the door on consultants, private advisors and offices that claim to be representatives of federal, state or municipal agencies subject to review.
“Any information or documentation sent by people without official liaison status will not be considered within their processes,” the organization warned.
Red alert against impersonations
The message also includes a warning about possible fraud or impersonation attempts. The ASF recommends that institutions and public servants report any suspicious approach by people or companies that present themselves as managers to the Audit. It’s as if they were saying, “If someone tells you they can fix your audit, it’s a lie.”
In closing, the ASF recalled that it has integrity and control mechanisms to prevent, detect and sanction irregular behavior. And it made complaint channels available to report pressure or improper intermediation. In other words: here the rules are clear and whoever plays outside the field is out of the game.
