The chemistry between Aislinn Derbez and Mauricio Ochmann continues to generate conversation. Six years after their separation, the ex-married couple maintains a relationship so close that speculation about a possible reconciliation does not go out of style.
“Never say never”: the position of both
Their reunion on the big screen as the protagonists of the romantic film “Hasta el fin del mundo” once again fuels expectations. In an interview with Qué magazine, both shared their position.
When questioned, Ochmann responded:
“The coin is in the air.”
Aislinn agreed:
“Never say never.”
Neither completely closes the door to a loving reconnection. However, they recognized that in the current stage, focused on raising their daughter Kailani, they have found balance.
“What I do feel is that we have been through everything. Through the most beautiful things, the most painful, the strongest. We have seen the dark side of each person. And yet we always return to love,” added the actress.
A story that waited a decade
The project originates ten years ago, when they were still a couple. Aislinn revealed that the script came into her hands when they had been dating for four years. She couldn’t help but cry when she read it while they were traveling together on a plane.
Various circumstances delayed production and, over time, their relationship ended. Years later, they met again to bring the story to the screen from a very different reality.
The film will hit theaters on July 23. For Ochmann, the result reflects the emotional charge and nostalgia that accompanied the project and his own story:
“Since we met, we have always been a team. Being and not being. Inside and outside.”
